Patch the Pirate is a program developed by Ron Hamilton and his wife, Shelly.
Ron "Patch" lost his left eye to cancer over twenty years ago.
Since that time the Lord has given him and his wife a wonderful opportunity to
minister to children through this club. First Baptist has used the Patch Club to reach
our children for the Lord since 2002.
The Patch Club is an exciting children?s choir club that uses Godly character lessons as its central emphasis. Five purposes of Patch the Pirate Club have been established:
- To build strong Christian character into the lives of children;
- To present a positive witness for Christ;
- To worship the Lord in song;
- To train children in music;
- To provide an exciting club meeting that every child will enjoy.
Each week Bible lessons, Scripture memory, character building song, and a daily
devotional guide are designed to work together to promote faithfulness and Godly character
in our children's lives. In addition, each child will have an opportunity to serve the Lord
through a monthly musical presentation. Through Patch the Pirate Club, each child will receive
the benefit of both musical and Biblical instruction.
Every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
