This years teen conference was a HUGE success. We all had a great time. We played some really fun games, and ate great food. Sure, that was fun but the most fun thing for me was to see 19 people get saved, Hallelujah! My church holds these activities not just to get our church population to grow, but to lead more people away from the Devil and closer to God. That was the first time I had ever been to a teen conference and the only thing I was thinking was "forget the prize, the money, the food, and games, just try to lead more people to Christ." And as I listened to the preaching and singing I told myself that I would do my best to get other "teens under construction" and start building their faith so they can go to heaven as well.

I think God for my salvation and for the exciting teen group we have here at First Baptist Church. It's amazing to see the growth we've had in the past few months because of the heart our teenagers have for lost teens in Clinton.

I stand amazed everyday that the Lord would choose someone like me to serve him. I was saved on March 19, 2003 at a Wednesday night service. Later that year, on July 7th, the Lord called me to preach at Harvest Baptist Camp in Tremont. I would like to thank everyone who helped at the youth conference and made it possible. We've had the youth conference before, but I have never seen a move of God in our teen group like that. Having 19 teenagers saved showed that it wasn't all in vain. If anything made me realize the importance of it, it was when one of my friends came up to me and told me "Thank you, for praying for me." It's awesome to have a teen group that prays and loves the Lord because if it hadn't been for us praying the Friday before, she might have never gotten saved. As for myself, I thank everyone who helps with the teen group and supports us in every decision.

I was saved on a Sunday. I was a church boy. I had been going to the church for 6-7 years. Finally, one day after thinking I'd been saved for 3 years, I realized I wasn't and miraculously by Jesus' shed blood I was saved and now I'm going to heaven.

I thank God for my salvation and calling me to preach. The Youth Conference we just had was awesome. You could tell Brother Swanson had the touch of God upon his life. Through his preaching and our praying God did a wonderful thing here. At the end of the day we had 19 teenages come to know our Saviour. I'm so thankful for our teen group from the oldest to the youngest and all in between, they are really great to have around. This is the greatest teen group and church in the world. I love it very much, and thank God for allowing me to be a part of it.
